CoVid-19 Update

As all of you are aware by now, the situation and uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 has created unprecedented change.

The imminent development of this global challenge means that we are facing ongoing logistical disruptions.

The reduced capacity and movement of cargo, whether by AIR or SEA, is now beginning to unfold.

Aircraft and flight numbers have been significantly reduced and vessel schedules have also been disrupted, causing space and service irregularities for imports and exports.

As outlined by the Department of Health and the World Health Organisation, Scorpion International has also taken initiatives and implemented some of the following necessary measures:

• The safety and health of all of our employees and their families, clients, overseas agents and sub-contractors remain at the forefront of our attention.
• Strict adherence to hygiene practices with regular risk assessments.
• Client visitations and out of the office meetings to be temporarily suspended, unless specifically requested by the other party and subject to their health and safety rules and regulations.

We will be very happy to conduct conference calls, Face Time meetings over the phone instead.

Scorpion International prides itself in protecting our people, clients and maintaining service continuity within the entire supply chain.

Our team not only remain fully dedicated to their tasks during this challenging time of uncertainty, but they will also grasp this as an opportunity to adopt to almost daily market changes and respond to all of our clients and partners with creative solutions.

We of course remain open for business, even though some of our staff will work from home, and encourage all of you to stay in close contact with your Scorpion representative.
